Graduate Programs

Graduate programs at HU offer the convenience of distance learning along with a select number of courses that include the excitement and intense learning provided by a brief residency program.  Students may configure semesters as all distance learning or choose a course or two that include one to five days of residency.  This means that students may remain in their communities and retain their life patterns while completing a graduate degree.

Graduate programs include the Masters of Theology (ThM) program, the Doctorate of Theology (ThD) program, and the Post Doctorate of Theology (ThD) program.  For students who follow one of the Five Special Emphasis Tracks the diploma lists the Special Emphasis, for example: Doctor of Theology;  Special Emphasis in Integrative Healthcare.  

Residencies offer a rich learning experience.  The experiential aspects of the residencies are designed to enhance personal development while the conceptual components emphasize scholarly exploration and the creative exchange of ideas.
