Registration

Holos University uses blended distance learning in which most of the academic learning is done working with instructors using email, conference calls, and webinars.  There are a few core courses that require attendance at a 1 - 3 day residency program.  Residencies are offered at the beginning of each semester during Campus Week at Unity Village, Missouri.

POLICY AND GUIDELINES FOR RESIDENTIAL COMPONENTS
The following statements set forth the current policy and guidelines for all Holos University students registering for Residency Components of a Holos University course:

All students have tuition fees covered for all courses in which they are officially enrolled in Holos University. There are courses with residential components, however, for which students will incur additional costs above the course tuition paid to Holos University. This additional expenditure may include varying costs for incidental fees (such as work materials, lunch, and additional course-specific presentation expenses) as well as the student's personal expense of travel, room, and board. Students are advised to consult the course syllabi and/or contact the residency sponsor for information about these fees (See CALENDAR).

If a given Residency Component is full, Holos University students will be placed as high as possible on a waiting list, and given top priority in the next offering of the Component.


The following procedure applies:
Students must officially enroll in the course, pay their tuition fees, and Register for specific Residency Components 

Register for Residencies held during Campus Week at Unity Village with the HU Registrar. Fees for these residencies are paid through the HU Bursar

Register for Residencies off-Campus with the Sponsor: See Calendar . Fees for off-campus residencies are paid to the residency sponsor.

Students usually incur an additional cost for incidentals, seminar materials and more beyond the tuition fee paid to Holos University. It is strongly suggested students verify dates and locations as well as cost with each instructor prior to making travel arrangements for any of the residencies. Any exceptions must be approved by individual sponsors only. Residencies are open to both Graduate Students and Certificate Students.
