ResidenciesWhile most of the Holos courses utilize a distance learning format, there is some material best learned through hands-on experience. Residencies provide students the opportunity to deepen their experience of community by attending 1 to 3 day workshops that supplement the distance learning.
See the course catalog for residential requirements. Graduation & Ordination CeremoniesGraduation is an exciting event at Holos. Doctoral Dissertations and Master's Theses or Essays are based, not on faculty interests, but on the passion driving the student who produces the work. This has been true since the beginning of the Seminary when its founding President, Dr. C. Norman Shealy, enthusiastically introduced students to an approach to their research by asking each, “What is your passion?”
Join us at Unity Village outside of Kansas City Missouri in September to celebrate the accomplishments of our new Holos Graduates. Hear about their research, their time at Holos, and their plans to take the learnings from Holos out to the world. The Commissioning service for All Faiths Church follows the graduation ceremony for those students who, through their coursework and recommendation by Faculty have met all the requirements and earned Ordination in All Faiths Church. |
